She is usually armed with a Hermes handbag as she goes about her usual daily rituals of shopping, manicures and spending time with boyfriend Kanye West.

But during a family trip to the Dominican Republic earlier this year, Kim Kardashian got to grips with a rather more controversial accessory.

The 31-year-old reality star has shared snaps from her private family album in which she is seen holidaying with the famous clan back in April.

In one snap Kim is pictured toting a large rifle as she describes a skeet shooting adventure with step-father Bruce Jenner, brother Rob and sister Kylie.

‘Bruce took us to go skeet shooting while we were on vacation in The Dominican Republic,’ she explains.

‘I had no idea what it was and it was scary! I was not good at all, but Rob and Bruce were both pretty good. Kylie and I just laughed the whole time!’

Kim, however, happily posed with the fire arm, and was dressed in an aptly themed outfit consisting of khaki army-style sleeveless jacket worn over the top of a cream blouse.

On her feet, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star had swapped her heels for a pair of strappy flat sandals.

Meanwhile Kim’s little sister Kylie wore a similar ensemble and had tiny cornrows done in the side of her hair.

Kim took her Dominican Republic trip with her family just months after splitting with her second husband Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage.

The reality star is presently still trying to get a divorce from the NBA player, and it is proving to be difficult.
In latest developments, Kris’s lawyer tried to compel Kim’s new boyfriend Kanye to come to court – by putting a subpoena in a Nordstrom box and sending it to Kim’s house.
